Our entire perception of the world is a culmination of verbal and non-verbal suggestions that we experience throughout our lives. Through positive and negative conditioning, these experiences form our beliefs. Read the rest of this entry »

Why is death so scary for most people in our culture?
According to Louis Silverstein, Ph.D. and Professor at Columbia College, there are several reasons. It is partly due to a lack of exposure to natural death, the negative and violent impressions made by mass media, as well as a fear of getting older.
Louis teaches a class on Death and Dying and recently wrote a book on the subject titled, “Encountering Life’s Endings.” We recently had a chance to sit down and interview Louis about his class, his new book, and why it is so important for him to share this message. Read the rest of this entry »

As more and more GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) show up in our food today, it’s important to call immediate attention to the implications of allowing large corporations to continue to run our farming and food systems. Purchasing brands that promote GMO-Free foods can help ensure the health of you and your family. In turn, you are also giving less power to companies like Monsanto, where one biotech consultant stated, “The hope of the industry is that over time, the market is so flooded that there’s nothing you can do about it. You just sort of surrender.” Let’s take this power back into our hands and demand good quality foods in our stores! Read the rest of this entry »

Download link to free e-book The Science of Getting Rich.pdf
Wallace Wattles proposed that getting rich is an exact science, not a mere idea or a scheme, and if one acts and thinks in a certain way, they will undoubtedly become rich.
The premise is awe inspiring…regardless of physical, mental attributes or environment, everyone can be rich.
From Chapter 1: “Whatever may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich.”
This concept is one of the primary inspirations behind the pop-culture phenomenon book and movie “The Secret,” which has been featured several times on the Oprah Winfrey show. Read this with an open mind and you can change your life.
